Published Works

Through my writing, I try to teach about scientific psychology. When I write for a general audience, I use fictional characters to illustrate psychological concepts and research findings. I also have a number of blogs in which I do the same thing.

I also write college-level textbooks as well as journal articles about research. With the textbooks, I try to help students learn the material in an interesting and informative way so that they'll be likely to apply it to their lives. With the research, I hope to learn more about how we can be "nudged" to be more helpful in our daily lives.
